PMDD Coaching & Online Support

Personalized Coaching for PMDD Relief

You know how intense and destabilizing PMDD can feel—the anger, anxiety, exhaustion, depression, confusion and shame, month after month. It can feel like you’re living two lives, or that no one truly understands what you’re going through—perhaps not even you.

I’ve been there. I lived with PMDD for 14 years, and have spent the last decade as a licensed therapist in Colorado supporting women and AFAB as a therapist navigating the same pain, confusion and overwhelm. Now, as a PMDD coach, I can work with clients all over the world.

PMDD coaching gives you a space to feel seen, heard, validated and supported. Together, we explore what’s happening in your cycle, identify patterns, and develop a personalized care plan that helps you manage symptoms and feel more in control. Coaching can include symptom tracking, emotional regulation strategies, communication tools, and guidance in navigating both medical and holistic options.

This is your time to take care of you. There is support. There are tools. And there is relief.

PMDD Consultations for Therapists

Support your Clients with Confidence, Clarity and Care

If you’re working with a client who experiences severe mood shifts, anxiety, rage, or depression in the second half of their cycle, they may be living with PMDD—a hormone-related mood disorder that affects 1 in 12 to 20 menstruating individuals. Often misdiagnosed or overlooked, PMDD can mirror other mental health conditions, making assessment and treatment especially complex.

As a therapist and PMDD specialist with over a decade of clinical experience—and personal experience living with PMDD—I offer one-on-one consultations to help you better understand, assess, and support clients with this often-misunderstood condition.

Consultations are tailored to your questions and needs, and may include symptom tracking strategies, treatment planning, when and how to refer out, psychoeducation tools, and collaborative care approaches. Whether you’re looking to support a single client or want to deepen your knowledge of hormone-related mental health, I’m here to help.

PMDD Awareness: Workshops, Talks & Trainings

Bringing Visibility, Validation and Education to Women’s Health

Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder (PMDD) is real, and far too many people suffer in silence—often misdiagnosed, dismissed or left feeling misunderstood and doubting their own experience. I know, because I was one of them.

Today, I offer talks, workshops, and trainings that raise awareness about PMDD and its impact on mental health, relationships and daily life. I combine clinical insight with lived experience to help others understand what this condition really feels like, as well as how we can better support those who live with it.

My talks and trainings are tailored for therapists, clinicians, health centers, college campuses, and community groups, as well as all women and AFAB individuals seeking education and support. Whether you’re a provider looking to better recognize PMDD symptoms or part of an organization wanting to expand the conversation around women’s hormonal health, I offer education that’s grounded, compassionate and accessible.

When we better understand PMDD, we can validate the experience, offer better care, and help women feel less alone.

PMDD Therapist | Women’s Health Coach | Lived Experience Advocate

Hi, I am Joanna. And, I’m happy that you’re here.

I know how disorienting and isolating PMDD can feel—because I’ve lived it. For years, I battled depression, rage, and hopelessness each month, without understanding why. Doctors misdiagnosed and dismissed me. And I blamed myself.

Everything changed when I discovered PMDD. Learning that what I was going through had a name was a turning point that set me on a path of healing, education and support.

Today, I’m a licensed therapist and PMDD coach supporting women and AFAB individuals navigating hormone-related mood disorders. I also provide consultations for therapists who want to better support their clients, offer PMDD trainings, and speak publicly to raise awareness around PMDD and the urgent need for better care in women’s health.

Whether we meet for coaching, consultation, or advocacy, my goal is always the same: to offer information, compassion, and tools for improved health and healing. My approach blends education, mindfulness, emotional support, and personalized strategies so you can better understand your patterns, communicate your needs, and feel less alone.

You deserve to feel seen, heard, supported and understood.
